Dealing with a False Hypo

To help curb false hypos, give your body what it wants...well, sort of. Give your body a very small amount of carbs (e.g. 2 - 3). Here's how:
  • A pixie stix is 2 carbs. 
  • A roll of smarties is 6 carbs making 3 about 1 carb. 
When you have a false low, start with 3 carbs, wait a few minutes. The feeling will go away because your body thought it was giving what it needed. After a few times, slowly wean yourself down and off.
